A Catch Up on SV Aleydabeth to June 5, 2012
Aleydabeth is waiting for us in Guaymas. Lyle visited her in January 2012 to find her ready to be back in the water.
In the meantime Lark has retired from her job. We have closed down our rental apartment, downsized yet again and moved everything into storage. We call Calgary "home" now, and take the time to enjoy our family while we make a 22' Nash fifth wheel our new home. This blog will chronicle our adventures while living in "Nash" ville.
We plan to travel through Alberta, enjoy the mountains then make our way south through the U.S. in September, and return to Aleydabeth in early October. We are looking forward to a year of wandering with no really firm plans.
It is amazing to me how quickly the work world disappeared. My thoughts have turned away from the everydayness and minuteia of details. It now seems very unimportant. I suppose that is a good thing. I will have to redefine my identity outside of a workplace. There is a challenge.
Off I go!
